Environmental portraiture, or brand photography within your natural environment (workshop, studio, home, etc.), authentically captures the essence of you and your work and helps clients connect with you and your brand on a deeper, human level. My approach to environmental portraiture is unique in that I focus on capturing the heart and soul that goes into your trade - you in your flow state, doing what you do best. Serving Boulder and the surrounding Colorado communities, reach out to create imagery that authentically reflects you and your work. Whitney DeVoto Photography operates on the occupied territories of the Cheyenne, Ute and 48+ contemporary Indigenous Tribes and Nations who live and travel throughout Colorado. 3% of every shoot or image license is contributed to Spirit of the Sun— an Indigenous, women-led nonprofit serving Native/BIPOC communities in Colorado through a variety of youth programming, land stewardship and food access offerings. Spirit of the Sun’s mission is to work in partnership with Native American communities in urban areas and on reservations to boost the resilience of Native people, especially youth and young adults.
