See the space, feel the story.

A well-executed residential photography session does more than document a space— it shapes perception and preserves legacy. For designers and builders, thoughtful, professional imagery elevates your portfolio and distinguishes your work in a competitive market. For homeowners, it honors the story of a space filled with memory and meaning. When a space is photographed with atmosphere, depth and authenticity, it invites connection— whether that be with future clients or future generations. See how I document Colorado and New Mexico homes and design projects below.

“I'm an interior designer and have worked with Whitney a couple of times now; her work is truly amazing. I am so happy with the photos and how she made my work shine. The angles and depth that she captures with her photos is incredible. I know I'll be calling her for my next projects.”

Interior & architecture for industry professionals.

Whitney has completed several projects for my general contracting business. From her first shoot I was beyond impressed as she brought a level of creativity and quality that allowed my work to shine in a way that wasn't seen previously. This is not a unique sentiment as many of my trade partners whom were also wow'd have since requested Whitney to work on separate projects.

Personal photography for family homes: preserving the spaces that shaped us.

Family homes hold years, or even decades, of stories. Yet life often brings transitions that require us to part with a home that held so much of our life. Sometimes it’s moving parents into a retirement community or smaller residence. Other times, it’s a cross-country move for work or simply the start of a new chapter. The family house– the place where birthdays were celebrated, traditions were built and everyday life quietly unfolded– is sold, emptied or passed on. In the midst of all the logistics and emotions, one thing often gets overlooked: documenting the home itself.

As a professional interior photographer, I’ve come to believe that photographing a family home is one of the most meaningful ways to honor memories and preserve the spaces that shaped us. I capture not just what the home looks like, but I listen to your stories and capture what it feels like to be home. Please reach out if you’d like to capture your home, it’s a subject that is dear to my heart!

“You really caught the feeling of our place. You pay so much attention to light, movement and balance that you come up with impactful views of things I see all the time. I am so impressed with the depth of color and really like how you focused on small details. When I’m 100 and maybe don’t get to be in these spaces as much as I want, these photos will be especially important. They are beautiful.”

  • For industry professionals, I approach architecture and interior photography with a strong respect for the vision behind each project. Before stepping behind the camera, I take the time to understand the design intent— what inspired the space, what makes it meaningful and how light interacts with the materials and forms throughout the day. This foundation allows me to create imagery that honors the craft, personality and atmosphere of each space.

My work blends technical precision with an intuitive awareness of space, capturing both the functional elements and the emotional qualities that make a room or structure feel intentional and storied. Rather than forcing a singular aesthetic, I adapt my perspective to the environment at hand, photographing interiors and architecture in a way that feels natural, honest and deeply connected.

For personal home photography for homeowners/families, I capture not just what the home looks like, but I listen to your stories and capture what it feels like to be home. While documenting your home, I am acutely mindful of the years, or even decades, of stories it holds. The images we capture become heirlooms– not because of their monetary value, but because of the memories they hold, providing a way to preserve the legacy of your home.
